More than 8,600 participants from all over the world signed up for the first MOOC on business process modeling lead by Prof. Mathias Weske. This free, six-week online course was offered on the interactive education platform, OpenHPI, by the Hasso Plattner institute (HPI) in Potsdam, Germany.
The participants learned the essentials of BPMN 2.0 with practical application samples using Signavio’s BPM solution. The course included weekly self-tests and homework assignments where hypothetical scenarios were brought to life using the Signavio Process Editor.
Given the remarkable participation and the great responses from the students, we plan to partner with HPI again in the future to offer more MOOCs on BPM (possibly a variety of topics) via OpenHPI. As soon as the dates are finalized, we will share the opportunity with you so stay tuned!
