Signavio in 2018 - BPM World

The year that’s been for Signavio in 2018—we’ve compiled a list, we’ve checked it twice and we’re pretty sure that 2018 was exceptionally nice!

Signavio in 2018

Phew, what a year it’s been! Looking back on Signavio in 2018, we’ve expanded rapidly, almost doubling our staff, strengthening our already stellar product portfolio and having a lot of fun along the way. We’re looking back at the year that’s passed with festive cheer, having reached our goals — and then some! We’d like to extend our thank-yous to all those who helped us in all sorts of ways in 2018, especially to all of our valued clients. We hope you’ve enjoyed the blog and that our insights continue to inspire your business strategy.

Code Camp 2018

Rapid growth was a big part of Signavio in 2018. Our team has expanded, both in Berlin and globally, and we now have well over 200 employees (and counting) worldwide. Keeping this diverse and spread-out group on the same page, and keeping the team spirit strong, are top priorities. This is why our annual Code Camp tradition is so important, and why this year was the biggest yet! Watch our round-up video below, and if you like what you see, why not check out our recruitment page.

The GDPR

This year was quite a treat for the highly detail-oriented, data protection nerds in our lives but for the rest of us, we’re breathing out a collective sigh of relief that we’ve made it through the year GDPR compliant. At Signavio in 2018 we went to great lengths to ensure that organizations across all industries could count on us to make sure their processes were running in line with GDPR standards and that the transition in May would be as hassle-free as possible.

If you’re still nursing a GDPR hangover, we extend not only our condolences but also a wealth of practical information from our blog, from last minute GDPR needs, to a break-down of the 4 most important implementation steps and dealing with data breaches, as well as a complete Guide to GDPR Compliance.

BPM World

We rang in the most wonderful time of the year by breaking records with Germany’s most influential business process management conference, Signavio BPM World! With a record 300+ participants turning out for expert BPM lectures and keynotes, this was something really special!

Replacing the previous Signavio Customer Days, BPM World offered a whole new dimension of workshops and professional breakout sessions for partners, customers, and non-customers alike. And the response was overwhelming. In fact, Signavio BPM World attracted visitors from more than 170 companies, setting a new record for this Signavio showcase.

Awards, awards!

Recognition is a heart-warming thing, and we are proud to share a few of our 2018 highlights. Aragon Research recognized Signavio as a “Hot Vendor™ in Customer Journey Mapping.” The Aragon Research report states that Signavio in 2018 was “hot” due to our deep history of creating, sharing, and improving business processes, as well as delivering rich Customer Journey Mapping capabilities that are highly configurable to amplify the process game for organizations. We were also featured in Silicon Review magazine as one of the "50 Smartest Companies of the Year."

And that’s not all; exciting things are in the pipeline! As always, we’re busy making our resolutions for the year to come, and it seems we’re getting more ambitious every year. You can check out our CEO’s 2019 BPM predictions, and of course stay tuned in 2019 for even more good tidings!
