We're delighted to share the highlights of the SAP Signavio October 2026 release. This release brings new AI agents to process analysis and mining, a next-generation modeling canvas, unified task handling and approvals across process governance, and new ways to turn recommendations into initiatives and demonstrate the value your transformation delivers. Read on to explore what's new.
SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite
Understand Process Relationships Before Making Changes
Processes don't exist in isolation, before you change one, you want to see what it depends on and what depends on it. Released in September 2026, the relation explorer feature now puts that connected view on the process itself: open any model and its relationships are right there, grouped by type, showing what the process feeds and what it draws from. Read them as a quick list in the relation tab or open the relation graph and follow the links outward, 'hop by hop’, hovering over any connection to reveal the semantic relation behind a process, until a whole stretch of your landscape comes into view.
It spans BPMN, Value Chain and Navigation Map models, reflects only published models so the picture is what's truly live, and reaches into SAP Signavio Transformation Manager, where an Objective opens onto its linked Initiatives. The payoff: scope a change's impact before you make it, assess downstream risk, and discover connections you didn't know existed, the first step toward one connected view across the whole Suite.
A dedicated, consistent home for every setting
The October release brings workspace configuration together in an unified, modernized Workspace Settings experience that brings all workspace administration and configuration options into a single centralized location. Previously, administrators often needed to navigate across different parts of the suite to manage modeling settings, dictionary configuration, attributes, and user management. The new experience consolidates these capabilities into one consistent workspace administration hub. Nothing breaks: existing configurations, permissions and responsibilities stay exactly as they are. This update rolls out to all customers with no cost, no activation and no setup, and it's the next milestone toward one unified home for configuration and, via the Repository, for assets.
Arriving for all customers on 27 October 2026, no action is needed, though admins can explore the interactive preview and get familiar with the new setting.
Process Analysis and Mining
SAP Signavio Process Intelligence
From business questions to actionable insights
The latest release enriched the Process Consulting Agent with process mining capabilities including cycle time analysis, process variant exploration, throughput, conformance, and event-level details, all accessible through natural language and significantly lowering the bar for analysts and business users who previously needed SIGNAL expertise.
Also, with the October release we introduce a beta program delivering a fully agent-led process mining experience, exposed via MCP. Starting from a business question, such as "What's driving delays in my order-to-cash process?" or "How can I improve my DSO?", the agent behind the MCP autonomously runs the full analysis workflow: it identifies root causes, surfaces inefficiencies, delivers recommendations, all without manual intervention.
In future releases , we plan to expand the Process Consulting Agent to also offer these enhancements directly in the UI.
Raw data is no longer the bottleneck to process intelligence
SAP Signavio is addressing one of the biggest barriers to process mining: data preparation. With the Process Data Modeling Agent (beta), users can describe their objective in plain language, review an AI-generated model proposal, and then let the agent automatically build the required pipeline in hours instead of weeks.
The solution supports both case-based and object-centric process mining, working across SAP and non-SAP data sources, executing pipelines with agent-to-agent workflows via MCP. While AI automates the technical work, users
remain in control by reviewing and approving proposed objects, relationships, and events before any pipeline is created.
This helps organizations move from data to decisions faster, with less effort and complexity.
Point your AI at your real process data
SAP Signavio is taking another step toward AI-powered intelligent processes with the new MCP Server, now available as a beta feature in Lab Space. Built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), it provides a secure, standardized way for AI assistants such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude Code, and other MCP-compatible tools to directly access SAP Signavio process data without requiring custom integration.
The beta release focuses on read-only access to SAP Signavio Process Manager, allowing AI agents to search repositories, read process models, explore dictionary content, review model relationships, and access workspace configuration information. Because the connection uses the user's existing SAP Signavio permissions, AI responses remain grounded in the process knowledge that users are already authorized to access.
Most importantly, the MCP Server lays the foundation for a future where AI can interact with organizational process knowledge in a more contextual and intelligent way, helping users discover information, understand process relationships, and accelerate transformation initiatives through conversational experiences
Process Modeling
SAP Signavio Process Modeler
A next-generation modeling canvas that reimagines modeling
Built to help you accelerate continuous transformation, the new SAP Signavio Process Modeler canvas is now generally available to all customers. The next-generation experience combines AI-assisted process modeling, intuitive collaboration, and native suite connectivity to make modeling faster, smarter, and accessible to everyone. With capabilities such as text-to-process generation, intelligent autosuggestions, real-time collaborative editing, and integrated lifecycle management, and connected across the SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite, the new canvas bridges modeling, governance, analytics, and transformation execution. Teams move beyond static process documentation to create living processes that continuously evolve with their business needs.

Process Transformation Management
SAP Signavio Process Transformation Manager
From AI recommendation to structured initiative
When the Process Consultant Agent identifies an optimization opportunity, transformation leads can now turn it into structured transformation work directly from the recommendation context. Initiatives and supporting insights are created without manually recreating content, keeping the rationale, process context, and supporting findings connected to the work. Your teams are empowered to move from advisory output to execution planning faster, bringing consistency to transformation planning in place of ad hoc documents, slides, or notes. The same interaction also supports value management: the agent can turn relevant process intelligence findings or user-provided business information into structured manual value cases, connecting identified improvement opportunities with expected business value.
Demonstrate the value your transformation delivered
Transformation leads can now track, visualize, and demonstrate realized business value throughout the transformation lifecycle. Realized value is captured alongside expected value across manually created and system-sourced value cases from SAP Signavio Process Intelligence, with source linkage preserved for transparency and integrity. Historical trend visualizations let teams track value progression over time, identify deviations from expected targets, and
distinguish planned impact from achieved outcomes, enabling more transparent reporting, informed transformation steering, and a clearer demonstration of measurable business impact.
Keep initiatives current without starting over
Transformation initiatives don't stay static - process insights, audit findings, and leadership priorities keep arriving. The Initiative Enricher lets transformation leads strengthen any existing initiative on demand: AI analyzes the initiative's current insights, assets, and tasks, asks for the context it's missing, and proposes new attributes, assets, and tasks shown alongside what already exists, so nothing gets duplicated. Every suggestion is reviewable individually, with full transparency and source tagging, so nothing is added without confirmation - keeping initiatives current and execution-ready and supporting transformation as a continuous capability.
