BERLIN - November 16, 2021 - Signavio has started discussions with Fujitsu Limited toward an agreement to jointly create accelerators to support the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies among manufacturing customers as part of a global strategic partnership. The new agreement expands the existing partnership Fujitsu already has with SAP. The accelerators will help customers overcome inefficiencies in their current shop floor processes by utilizing SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite, an integrated solution platform designed to model, manage, analyze, optimize, and execute business processes. The SAP Signavio solutions are central to the business process intelligence (BPI) portfolio from SAP, enabling organizations to continuously understand, innovate and transform their business processes, fast and at scale.

Over four decades, Fujitsu has been enabling companies worldwide to use SAP business applications with cutting-edge, reliable technology and consulting services. Fujitsu’s SAP offerings include support for the new RISE with SAP initiatives, as part of their focus on delivering successful digital transformation projects for their customers.

The Business Consulting division of Fujitsu, recognizing that business transformation is becoming a foundational function for many organizations, will be incorporating Signavio solutions into their portfolio of offerings.

As manufacturers look to become more agile, they are deploying Industry 4.0 technologies, dramatically changing business processes from the shop floor and beyond. Fujitsu and Signavio will jointly create accelerators, which will allow customers to more easily transform their operations to meet demands of the future.

“This strategic partnership will equip manufacturers across the world with the tools to map, model and manage foundational systems and processes that underpin any successful digital transformation and enable them to realize the potential of Industry 4.0 technologies,” said Dr. Gero Decker, CEO at Signavio and co-General Manager of BPI. “We welcome the opportunity to deepen our relationship with Fujitsu in the service of our respective global customer bases”.

Mikihito Saito, Fujitsu Global head of SAP solutions, says: “Given the current challenges of the global economy, we believe that Business Process Redesign and Optimization are essential services for our customers to enhance their efficiency as well as reduce their costs. Fujitsu is very well positioned to help companies improve their productivity by leveraging our expertise and SAP Signavio solutions.”

Fujitsu has observed an increase in requests from customers to address process gaps, which are commonly caused by unstructured approaches towards business process management to ensure the success of these initiatives. In this regard, the SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite has already proven to be extremely effective at driving outcomes and streamlining processes.

Signavio and Fujitsu will provide their customers with a detailed picture of the current processes in order to analyze and make informed decisions. This evidence-based approach as opposed to a purely consultative approach not only reduces the time spent gathering data from months to weeks but also provides a more accurate outcome. Through the combined capabilities of these two companies, customers will be able to optimize their operations and increase their competitiveness.
