How to accelerate digital transformation while creating business value?

Just like great music, the key elements that deliver change—data, processes, and technology—need to work in harmony. When these are aligned and responding to business needs, the transformation is greater than the sum of its parts.

Join SAP Signavio and our strategic partner Scheer Americas for a truly transformative evening.

You’ll hear from experts in business process design and meet business leaders who are ready to move beyond the basics of transformation. We’re talking proven, value-driven strategies that will help you manage and deliver change from day one.

What you'll learn

  • How enterprise data modeling is critical for AI success—with Dr. August-Wilhelm Scheer, Founder of the ARIS methodology.
  • Proven frameworks for digital transformation that prioritize process, leverage data, and put AI to work—with Dr. Mathias Kirchmer, MD of Scheer Americas.
  • Live SAP Signavio product demo on how to harmonize transformation workstreams.
  • Q&A with industry experts.
  • Networking with a live jazz band making all the right noises.

Key takeaways

  • Strategies for prioritizing processes that deliver the most transformation value.
  • Building the data foundation for successful AI deployment with minimal disruption.
  • Practical ways to manage change with the agility to improvise when needed.
  • Real-world case studies with measurable transformation results.

You'll leave with actionable strategies and a clear understanding of how to generate business value through digital transformation.

Realizing the Value of your Data – the Comeback of Enterprise Data-Modelling

The availability of the right data enables but also limits the realization of processes and business models. Data is at the core of an enterprise architecture. Without appropriate data, no AI system can be trained and applied. Simulation studies and decision support systems are based on the underlying data. Therefore, the knowledge and definition of the required data structures of a company is a key task of information management and digital transformation.

The presentation will explain the basic structure of company-wide data management based on a company-wide data model. The analysis of data structures shows possibilities for simplifying them and thus streamlining business processes.

The use of real-time data in the context of a digital company twin shows possibilities for process optimization and the control of so-called dark factories. Result is an effective ongoing performance management resulting in focused improvement initiatives.

Value-driven Digital Transformation: Process-led, Data-based, AI-enabled

Most companies have started digital transformation initiatives to fuel performance and move towards agility, flexibility, innovation and efficiency. But how can we master this transformation journey without overwhelming the organization? How can we achieve best value? The answer is Value-driven Digital Transformation which is Process-led, Data-based and AI-enabled.

Value-driven Digital Transformation prioritizes processes to start the journey where most value is delivered. It standardizes processes appropriately to simplify the transformation, optimizes toward the defined goals leveraging the business impact of digital technologies, and innovates where appropriate. AI plays an increasingly important role to achieve best outcomes and enhance the transformation itself.  Process modeling, simulation and mining are used to create the required transparency and quantify the expected impact. This enables data-based decisions driving the transformation journey. Enterprise architecture management helps to align business, data and technology requirements. The expected value is realized and sustained through an agile integrated governance approach, aligning process, data and AI aspects.

The presentation illustrates how to master value-driven digital transformation using real cases from financial firms and manufacturing companies. It points out the increasing importance of AI and data-based management for this journey.
