Turn images and tables into process models in seconds
Process knowledge lives everywhere: in whiteboard sketches, spreadsheets, and scattered notes. The challenge has always been turning that knowledge into standardized, actionable process models. The SAP Signavio AI-assisted process modeler closes this gap.
Building on its proven ability to generate BPMN diagrams from text descriptions, the AI-assisted process modeler now supports two new inputs: images and tables. With the image to process feature, you can upload visuals from tools like Miro®, Lucidchart®, or Microsoft Visio®, and AI automatically identifies activities, lanes, and participants to create a structured BPMN model. Similarly, with the table to process feature, spreadsheet-based descriptions are converted into process diagrams in a single click.
The result? More time spent where it matters most: analyzing, improving, and transforming the processes that are key to your business success.
Modify AI-generated diagrams with natural language
Creating a first draft of process models is only the beginning. The real value comes from refining them until they accurately depict how work truly gets done. Traditionally, that meant editing BPMN elements and reworking process diagrams manually. This release changes that. With the AI-assisted process modeler you can generate a BPMN diagram from a text description, image, or table, then continuously refine it through additional instructions in plain language. This transforms AI-assisted modeling into an iterative experience, allowing process experts and business stakeholders to collaborate with the diagram through conversation rather than complex BPMN editing.

Accessing the right process content shouldn’t require complex navigation or manual setup. The new AI-assisted, role-based process overview automatically surfaces the content that is most relevant to your role. Simply provide your job details, and the AI-powered onboarding wizard recommends matching roles from your dictionary. Review the suggestions, choose the best fit, and instantly gain access to the process content you need to do your work effectively. Less searching, faster onboarding.
SAP Signavio Process Intelligence
Take the guesswork out of process improvement
This release introduces a powerful new capability: data-driven business process simulation in SAP Signavio Process Intelligence. Organizations can now test process changes using their own process data before implementing them in the real world. Explore different scenarios, anticipate the impact of various strategies on performance, costs, and resources, and identify potential bottlenecks before they arise. The AI-assisted process comparison documentation capability (planned GA August 2026) automatically compares diagram revisions and summarizes the changes. Instead of performing manual, side-by-side document comparisons, reviewers receive AI-generated summaries that highlight what changed and why these matters. It allows experts to quickly understand and validate key differences while maintaining full human oversight.
