Looking Back on 2013 and Getting Ready for 2014

An exciting year for Signavio is coming to an end, and a new one is just ahead!

Merry Christmas from Signavio

As the year comes to a close and we prepare for 2014, we’d like to take quick look back at some of the highlights of the past year - from introducing new product features to opening the doors to Signavio’s new Singapore office. Most importantly, we’d like to say “Thank You!” to all of our customers and partners.

Improving the Signavio Process Editor continued to be our focus throughout 2013. We released loads of enhancements that help in designing and communicating high quality and efficient processes. The new features that come to mind include simulation, attribute visualization, and auto-checked modeling conventions. Our free QuickModel app - BPMN2.0 made simple for your iPad®and desktop - became popular for making modeling as easy as typing information into a spreadsheet.

Process automation was also a major development theme in 2013. Signavio provided Tom Baeyens, BPM veteran and software developer, with a significant investment and the support of our development team to help continue building Effektif, a SaaS based workflow solution. If you are interested in creating BPMN 2.0 compliant workflow without programming, you’ll really like what Effektif has to offer. Tom’s future vision for enterprise workflow is scheduled to launch early 2014. In the meantime, you can find some hints about what is planned at: www.effektif.com (ask your account manager for a pre-release screening!).

On the business side, we proudly announced the opening of our new Singapore office in response to Asia-Pacific’s (APAC) demand for professional BPM. Amidst all of the growth of our business and in typical Signavio tradition, we also found time to participate in fun events throughout the year like the Berlin Relay Marathon.

We are especially proud that the Signavio Process Editor was selected as one of the finalists in the SAP HANA Cloud Applications Challenge during the SAP TechEd conference in Amsterdam. Signavio developers also finished in first place at the EU’s first ever TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon.

All of this is only possible with your support, so here’s a warmhearted and sincere “Thank You!” from everyone at Signavio. If you have any suggestions for what you’d like to see from Signavio in 2014, please feel free to reach out to our team. It’s always great to hear from you.

Happy Holidays, and a wonderful New Year with a sleigh load of fun and success in 2014 from all of us at Signavio! You can look forward to an equally exciting 2014!
