10 years process change and insight

Ten years ago this week—4 May 2009 to be precise—four students founded Signavio, introducing the world’s first completely web-based collaborative BPM software. Derived from the Italian word “segnavia,” meaning signpost, it was our founders’ goal to help businesses navigate the road to change.

Signavio today

Today, our software continues to serve as a signpost in the day-to-day processes of over 1,300 customers and 1 million users. The SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite, a cloud-based software for intersectional collaborative process and decision management, offers companies a way to orient themselves in times of constant change.

We have continued to evolve, growing both as a company and in the strength and flexibility of our product offerings. What began as a small start-up is now a global player with an ever-expanding team working in offices across Germany, the United States, Singapore, France, the Netherlands, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

Telling our story

To mark the beginning of our 10th birthday celebrations, we've put together a short video, which you can watch above.

The next ten years

We’ve had ten years of striving for a more collaborative and accessible approach to process management. Ten years of challenges and successes, giving life to our motto of ‘BPM for everyone’.

Now, we’re thinking about the decade to come. We already know what our goals are. The question that really gets us excited is, “What can we help you achieve in the next ten years?”

We're keen to get started. If you are too, sign up for a free 30-day trial today.
