1st Signavio Partner Convention - camunda awarded as Certified Partner of the Year

35 participants gathered for Signavio's 1st Partner Convention in Berlin on 8 September 2011 and discussed the latest updates on the Signavio tool.

2011 is the year of the partners at Signavio: The new partner programs "Consulting Partner" and "Certified Partner" were introduced in January this year. Consulting Partners are typically freelancers specializing in process documentation and optimization. Certified Partners are consulting firms or system integrators who offer a broad range of services in the Business Process Management (BPM) domain.

The uppermost floor of Berlin's brandnew central train station offered spectacular views over the city and served as ideal environment for inspiring presentations and discussions.

Keynotes by Jakob Freund, Prof. Mathias Weske and Walter Abel

Jakob Freund opened the convention with a presentation on modeling best practices for BPMN. Prof. Weske talked about the newest developments in academic BPM research and Walter Abel from Austria discussed ITIL processes for IT service management.

Networking is key

In addition to the presentation program, the partner convention offered much room for networking among the partners, for instance during lunch just opposite to the German Chancellery. We are also sure that the cooking session in the evening was a memorable event.

We are very happy about the positive feedback on the convention and we are already looking forward to an exciting second partner convention in September 2012.
