SAP Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiroshi Suzuki, hereinafter referred to as SAP Japan) today announced that Kao Corporation (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yoshihiro Hasebe, hereinafter referred to as Kao) has adopted the solution "SAP Signavio®" to support the continuous improvement of business processes.

Kao, a global manufacturer of daily necessities and cosmetics, already utilizes various SAP solutions, including SAP ERP solutions, at its domestic and overseas locations in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. However, in a rapidly changing business environment, it is necessary to understand the actual state of global business operations, further improve business efficiency, optimize the cash conversion cycle (CCC), and enhance corporate value. Therefore, Kao has decided to adopt SAP Signavio solutions, which strongly support the visualization of their current operations using ERP data that they have accumulated through years of operational experience, helping to identify and resolve issues in business performance.

Currently, Kao is using business analysis services supplied by the SAP service team with SAP Signavio to build systems and conduct analyses related to global accounts payable and receivable management processes to improve CCC. Based on these analysis results, the company plans to work globally to streamline business processes and strengthen governance, aiming to improve CCC. Additionally, they intend to continuously analyze and improve other areas to enhance corporate value.
