Dr August-Wilhelml Scheer
Dr August-Wilhelm Scheer is one of the most influential researchers and entrepreneurs in the IT and software industry. A sought-after political advisor, public speaker global thought leader and innovator, his books are among the standard works of business process management and translated in many languages. The ARIS process management approach he developed is used globally in numerous large and medium-sized companies. He is also the founder of successful consulting and software companies, including the consulting firm Scheer, the software company Scheer PAS and imc which provides digital learning technologies.

Dr. Kirchmer is an experienced practitioner and thought leader in the field of Business Process Management (BPM) and Digital Transformation. He co-founded BPM-D, a consulting company focusing on performance improvements and appropriate digitalization by establishing and applying the discipline of BPM. Previously, he was Managing Director and Global Lead of BPM at Accenture, and CEO of the Americas and Japan of IDS Scheer, known for its process modelling software and process consulting. He has published 11 books and over 150 articles.
