SAP Signavio Process Manager: Changes in Version 12.14.0 (SaaS)

With the 12.14.0 release of SAP Signavio Process Manager, we introduced the following new functions and bug fixes:

New / Improved Functions

  • We adjusted the commenting behavior. Users with a Collaboration Hub license can only see comments created on a published model revision. Modellers can see all comments on published and unpublished model revisions in the Editor as usual. For modellers who want to reply to comments on a published revision we recommend to switch to the Collaboration Hub and comment on the published model revision there.
  • You can now visualize attributes of a linked subprocess on an linking element. For example on a collapsed BPMN 2.0 subprocess. For that you must define the attribute for the element type and set a value for the attribute on the linked subprocess.

Fixed Bugs

  • You can now export multiple .sgx models/.sgx model revisions containing the same custom graphic.
  • Merging Dictionary entries including attachments now works as expected.
  • When users are invited to a workspace, they can only register with the invitation email address.
  • We improved the quality of BPMN 2.0 XML imports and exports. Importing and exporting .xml files now works as expected when diagrams contain data objects and data association elements.
  • We fixed a bug that prevented opening diagram shapes in the Editor.
  • You can again save a diagram after migrating it from BPMN 1.2 to BPMN 2.0.
  • The modeling conventions check no longer reports an inconsistency between the title of a shape and the title of a Dictionary item (check 2.4) if only the formatting was changed (e.g. a line break was added).
  • You can again assign access rights in the “Access rights” tab of the “Manage users & access rights” dialog.
