Peter Franz has years of experience in realising real value from systems projects and will share this experience with reference to the development and implementation of a new procurement system at Maersk Tankers. This project also enhanced the Maersk Tankers journey to improve the maturity of their process management capability. Peter will share how they did this using the Signavio platform.
Integrating Business Decisions and Processes: Effective Collaboration of DMN and BPMN

The presentation includes case studies showing how these techniques have been applied by major companies to improve the transparency and accuracy of their business operations and includes some live demonstrations of decision modeling.
Jan Purchase has been working in investment banking for 19 years, the last 13 of which he has focused exclusively on helping clients with Business Decisions, Decision Modeling (in TDM and DMN), Business Rules, Business Rule Management Systems (BRMS) and Business Process Modelling. He is a founder of Lux Magi Financial Rules (www.luxmagi.com): a company specializing in delivering, training and mentoring all of these concepts to financial organizations. Lux Magi has been applying Decision Modelling to finance and regulatory compliance projects since 2011 to support their clients in becoming and remaining compliant with ever changing regulations.
Mr Purchase will publish a book Real World Decision Modeling with DMN with James Taylor later in the year.
Process Intelligence – Compliance, Performance, Innovation

Making process data analytics available for business users, even when dealing with large data sets. This presentation will focus on how to identify process compliance issues between a modeled future state process and the observed current state process. Business users can identify the impact of a compliance or performance violation based on KPIs and trigger follow-up actions.
Sven has been with Signavio since 2009 and has led integration projects with Microsoft SharePoint and SAP Solution Manager. He has a Master of Science in IT Systems Engineering and worked with SAP Australia, before moving on to software consultation. Sven has a strong interest in, and talent for BPM – forming part of the working group with OMG BPMN MIWG which defined BPMN 2.0 – the global standard for BPM.
