Looking back at a very successful year 2010

The year is solwly coming to an end. Therefore, it is high time to take a look back at all the exciting things that happened this year at Signavio.

We have launched an array of product innovations regarding the Signavio Process Editor in 2010. The modeling standard BPMN 2.0 was finalized and Signavio is one of the world's first vendors to offer a comprehensive implementation of the standard. Also, the Signavio Process Editor is the only process modeling tool that runs on the Apple iPad. Our developers were very happy about the big attention from all over the world. We have integrated many new features into the product, making it the number one choice in many scenarios where established tools would normally have been chosen.

This trend towards becoming the leading product for process modeling and analysis is underlined by the large number of new customers who started using the Signavio Process Editor this year. Big organizations such as AOK (health insurance), 1&1 (telecommunications), EDEKA (retail) or Swiss Post (logistics) as well as many medium-sized companies within and outside Germany have chosen Signavio. The SaaS offering had a particularly big impact to increasing the customer base by more than factor 10. Being able to start quickly and avoiding capital expenditures makes it very attractive for small and medium-sized companies to use Signavio.

2010 has also been the starting point for many new partnerships. We would like to highlight SAPERION AG at this point. A tight integration between the Signavio Process Editor and SAPERION Workflow based on BPMN 2.0 allows a quick and easy implementation of document-centric processes. Also the partnership with HENRICHSEN AG has led to a range of new customers, for instance BMW, Saint Gobain and Swisscom.

Signavio was able to achieve a very positive financial result this year. This is a comfortable starting point for further improving the product and having enough resources to take all the innovative ideas of our customers into account. We are investing into our employees and we are happy to welcome new team members almost every month. We are especially proud of being a very attractive company to work for among students and graduates of Hasso-Plattner-Institute, one of the best IT universities in the world.

We are already looking forward to an exciting 2011. We will start in January by launching our new partner program. It is targeted at freelancing process consultant and small consulting companies ("Consulting Partner") on the one hand and at consulting companies, system integrators and resellers ("Signavio Certified Partner") on the other. In parallel to that, we are preparing our joint presentation at Cebit with our partner camunda.

The focus of 2011 will be "collaborative BPM". You can already be excited about a set of new features that will make it even easier to get everyone involved in process design.
