At EDEKA, business processes are in the center of interest within the comprehensive implementation of SAP® – both, during the recording of the requirements for customizing as well as during the subsequent implementation of the system in the business units.The Signavio Process Editor is employed to record the processes using BPMN-diagrams. Thereby, all activities are connected to the appropriate entries in the SAP® Solution Manager as well as to corresponding SAP®-transactions.

Besides Signavio, the RWD-tool which enables the recording of workflows in the SAP®-System is employed for training reasons.Signavio offers a lightweight support for the collection and coordination of the functional processes. The connection to the SAP® Solution Manager enables EDEKA to maintain a consistent holistic overview.
