Role-specific access and Single-Sign-On

A stable version of a process model is accessible in the process portal for read-only access after approval. It is possible to work on diagrams without having the latest version appear in the portal immediately thanks to the integrated version management. The latest version will only be available after the next approval.

The embed functionality is an easy mechanism for inserting diagrams into wikis and blogs.

The embed functionality requires that the system allows the HTML script tag. This is not the case for phpBB, DocuWiki and MediaWiki.

For embedding diagrams into Google applications (Wave, Docs, Spreadsheet, Sites) you can access the Google Gadget for a diagram under tab "More".

Since the newest jBPM version you will find a tight integration with the Signavio Process Editor. Parts of the functionality of the commercial process design tool have been donated as Open Source and are available for download for every jBPM user. The graphical models are stored automatically as jPDL files. Existing jBPM process definitions can be loaded and edited as well.
