Cebit 2010 résumé

Located right next to the webciety theme park, Signavio had an own booth at Cebit this year. We can look back to five very successful days and we are happy to serve the many new contacts with their BPM initiatives over the next months.

We were quite overwhelmed by the huge number of people visiting us in hall 6. We had many interesting discussions with consulting companies specialized in business process management (BPM) as well as with many organizations of all industry segments applying BPM. Our four Signavio employees were completely busy from early in the morning until long after the official end of the exhibition. Fortunately, our friendly exhibition assistants could already provide drinks and info material while the four of us were still busy presenting our tool.

Obviously, we pretty much matched the demand of many BPM projects. Getting everybody involved in process design and offering them a way to participate according to their individual level of experience is a strong vision that seems to be convincing for many people.

Two of our partners supported us with their employees at our booth. Rüdiger Molle of IT-Architekturbüro could share his insights regarding process management in the health care sector. Our partners from Henrichsen AG presented the integration of Signavio with the workflow solution "T!M - Task in Motion".

Many other partners also showed up at our booth. Our friends of Red Hat's jBPM project even came all the way from Belgium to meet us. Furthermore, Jakob Freund of camunda and other colleagues of the Berlin BPM initiative honored us with their presence.

Cebit even turned out to strengthen our HR side: After an inspiring job interview on Tuesday evening, we could hire our newest developer right away. Two days later, he already started working in our Berlin office. That was quick..

Unfortunately, we did not have the time to have a closer look at the solutions of other vendors. At least we could share some ideas at Software AG 's wonderful party on Thursday evening. Thanks for that!

Have you missed the chance to meet us in Hannover? The next trade fairs for us will be conhIT in Berlin (20-22 April) and the Process Solutions Day in Frankurt (17 May).
